Our worship reflects a strong sacramental and scriptural base, with our services usually take their structure from A Prayer Book for Australia.

You are very welcome to join us, especially if you are visiting. Please stay for a cup of tea or coffee and fellowship after the service.

Palm Sunday

25 March

8.00am Eucharist with Blessing of Palms.

10.00am Sung Eucharist, Procession, Blessing of Palms.

Holy Monday

26 March

7.30pm The Stations of the Cross (Non-Eucharist).

Holy Wednesday

28 March

  • 10.00am Eucharist.
  • 7.30pm Eucharist.

Maundy Thursday

29 March

  • 7.30pm Commemoration of the Last Supper, Stripping of The Altar, Tenebrae.

Good Friday

30 March

  • 9.30am “At the Foot of the Cross” Good Friday Liturgy (Non-Eucharist).

Easter Day

1st April

  • 6.30am Lighting of the New Fire, Easter Vigil, Renewal of Baptismal Promises, First Eucharist of Easter, followed by Easter Breakfast.
  • 9.30am Sung Eucharist

Regular services


There are usually two services each Sunday. The later service is a sung Eucharist that includes our choir and organist.

  • 8am Said Eucharist
  • 10am Sung Eucharist


  • 10am Eucharist in All Saints Chapel downstairs – except January (30 mins)

Children of all ages are very welcome to services at St John’s. We have a dedicated play area at the back of the church for younger children. It has toys, books and activities, and families can take part in the service while occupying our younger visitors.
